The artist:
As a transcontinental transplant with roots across India, Ireland, Mexico, and NYC, Peloloca has navigated a life of code-switching and cultural paradox. Their creative journey covers diverse mediums and personas, spanning interdisciplinary design, new media, fashion, filmmaking, and eventually, the return to their oldest love—clay. Through this elemental medium, Peloloca explores the contradictions, tensions and interdependencies that manifest within today’s complex cultural and ecological realities.
