At Artshack, we view art as a tool for self-expression, problem-solving, and growth. This season, students will explore clay through hand-building, the pottery wheel, and other techniques, while also practicing drawing, drafting, and sketching. They will work with various mixed-media techniques, including printmaking, felting, and sculpture. Projects will focus on process-based art-making, allowing children to experiment, make discoveries, and build confidence. Our studio provides a space for creative risk-taking, collaboration, and the development of each child's unique artistic voice.
Esp. Programa Extracurricular Niñxs - Invierno/Primaver 2026
En Artshack, vemos el arte como una herramienta para la autoexpresión, la resolución de problemas y el crecimiento. Esta temporada, lxs estudiantes explorarán la arcilla mediante el modelado a mano, el torno de alfarería y otras técnicas, mientras practican dibujo, diseño y bocetaje. Trabajarán con diversas técnicas de medios mixtos, como la serigrafía, el fieltro y la escultura. Los proyectos se enfocarán en el proceso creativo, permitiendo que lxs niñxs experimenten, hagan descubrimientos y ganen confianza. Nuestro estudio es un espacio para asumir riesgos creativos, colaborar y desarrollar una voz artística única.

Join us for Artshack’s first-ever Clay Club: a relaxed, drop-in clay studio on Monday and Thursday afternoons! Clay Club is guided by one of our Teaching Artists; it’s an open studio format - not a class, but a supportive, self-directed space for making and exploring.* pick-up service ‘Add-on’when enrolled for full semester.
