The work:
Inspired by the women of Greek Mythology, this piece is a celebration of their stories in stark contrast to the normal narratives where they are often cast as victim or prize. This piece has been hand thrown, and using the photographic process of cyantoyping, I've cast these women literally "in light".

The artist:
Jess Stocker is an artist living in Brooklyn NY. She specializes in photography, ceramics and comedy. She's currently getting studying to get her graduate degree in Art Therapy at Pratt University.
