On Saturday, November 11th from 1-3pm join us in celebrating community, connection, and shared creation for a FREE Community Day! This community day is led by artist Hyeree Ro. What do memories hold? How are they contained? Participants will be exploring the idea of memory and be guided through the steps to create sealed objects that contain and conceal things of memory. The is a guided clay workshop. All ages are welcome! No wheel throwing, just hand building. To make room for all, we ask that you spend an hour maximum making something. This event is free, but we welcome donations! This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and The Brooklyn Council on the Arts.
